Prince Charles is apparently lobbying Jeremy Hunt about the controversial alternative treatment

Prince Charles was last night urged to avoid the debate over homeopathy for the NHS, amid claims that he had lobbied the medical Secretary to be replaced by the controversial alternative health care.

Labor MPs reacted with fury to the revelation that the heir to the throne had met Jeremy Hunt last week, with NHS support for homeopathy believed to be on the agenda. The disclosure of the Prince’s latest communications with senior politicians came days after judges ruled that the public has no directly to have in mind the valuables in 27 letters he had written to ministers over several years, in an attempt to influence policy decisions.

Prince Charles is really a long-term advocate of homeopathy, that involves treating patients with highly diluted substances with the objective of triggering the bodyPercentu2019s natural system of healing. Mr Hunt once told a constituent that it needs to be available [for the NHS] when a doctor and patient believe a homeopathic treatment could be advantageous.

Recording government new chief scientific adviser, Sir Mark Walport, dismissed homeopathy as “nonsense”,  but critics have complained that the NHS continues to be spending countless pounds annually on the therapy they claim has no impact on patients.

Despite Mr Hunt’support for homeopathy, Prince Charles is thought to be frustrated together with the Government’s failure to force by having a register of practitioners of herbal and Homeopathy.
