Food Reward
This week's lucky "winner"... Cola!
Thirsty yet? Visual cues such as these are used to drive food/beverage seeking and consumption behavior, which are used to drive profits. How does this product? Once you've consumed a rewarding beverage an adequate amount of time, particularly as a flexible baby, your brain comes to be involved with everything almost so as to beverage with the primary reward you obtained from it (calories, baby, and caffeine). This is simply Pavlovian/classical conditioning*. Everything associated with so as to beverage becomes a cue so as to trigger motivation to achieve it (craving), counting the sight of it, the smell of it, the sound of a can popping, and even the pure and social nature it was consumed in-- precisely like Pavlov's dogs learned to drool by the side of the sound of a bell so as to be repeatedly paired with food.
