Mental health was highlighted on Wednesday, that was World Mental Health Day, at the Assembly Hall, Melksham.

The wedding, directed at raising awareness of mental health, was organised by Wiltshire and Swindon Users" Network, and saw a variety of art workshops, guest speakers and group activities for people with mental health problems.

Louise Rendle, head of network services, said: "We had public health bodies there doing cholesterol and hypertension checks, and organisations like Rethink and Mind."

"It was a combination of being informative, and then for people to have a chance to have a go at the skill and music therapy, or maybe to speak to the other person, as that is usually the most effective things if you have mental medical issues."
